With the help of Nae I finally got this old animation I've had sitting on my computer uploaded onto NG. It was made on 2 or 3 sheets of paper with a ton of charcoal and a kneaded eraser. I did this a year or so ago, and it was a lot of fun to work on. I'm hoping I can save up to get a lightbox (or make one) so I can start doing traditional animation again.

I saw that, surprised me to learn it was you behind today's daily feature. Seriously congrats, you earned it. Picture after picture of the same messy charcoal sheet. That would drive me insane, you must have crazy endurance.
Did you use traditional chunky chalk, those charcoal sticks, or charcoal pencils? Why does it matter? Because I know first hand how messy it can be.
I used vine charcoal, it's not as powdery as chalk charcoal and easier to get cleaner lines out of it.

Oh yeah I actually saw that while I was working on that project! I would really love to try and do something like that, maybe one day in the future.
